About the role

Mount Street Books is a small independent bookstore housed within a dynamic Boutique Hotel, focusing on an eclectic range of Design, Art and Fiction. We are looking for a genuine reader with a passion for classical literature and the Arts to join our small team.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with their enquiries on the shop floor
• Receive stock and process web/special orders
• Maintain store presentation
• Engage with and listen to customers, sharing knowledge and inspiring where possible

About you

• Some experience as a bookseller
• Passion for classical literature and the Arts
• Genuine reader
• Desire to engage with and listen to customers
• Reliable and committed to being part of a small team
• Flexible availability including evening trade and weekends
• Available throughout December
