Digital Channel Manager

If you are a communications professional with a passion for community and social justice, read on! We’re looking for a Digital Channel Manager with experience in website design and management to join our Public Website Replacement project team at an exciting and critical time in the project.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our dynamic project delivery team. The role represents the Communications Manager (the website’s owner) and will be responsible for a range of deliverables spanning governance, website application development and change management.

You will contribute meaningfully to building a website grounded in user experience, best of breed technology, and the principle of information as a service.

You will define business requirements (including human centred design, UI/UX development, technical co-design and quality assurance) and work closely with vendors, Communications, legal SMEs and other stakeholders to ensure the website meets those needs.

You will apply content governance system workflows, coordinate population of content, and undertake other system-based activities in preparation for go-live.

You will play a key role in establishing a sustainable management model and support the transition to operations. This includes developing the Product Roadmap, website governance and procedures aligned to Corporate Communications, and other organisational and Government compliance requirements.
