Graphic Designer & Pre-Press Operator - Signage

About the role:
We're seeking a versatile and highly organised Graphic Designer and Pre-Press Operator with proven experience in the signage industry to join our growing studio. This full-time role sits within our Signage department, where you'll turn briefs and client artwork into technically precise files. Strong attention to detail is essential, as artwork sits at the centre of our production process and shapes the accuracy and quality of everything that follows.

About you:
You're an experienced, detail-oriented designer who thrives in a fast-paced, production-driven environment with tight windows at times. This position requires strong organisational skills, time management, and a practical understanding of signage production. You'll ideally have at least 3 years' experience in the following:

• Signage or print production environments

• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)

• Strong understanding of production processes, materials, and file setup

Experience using ShopVox is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage time, projects, and multiple deadlines across departments in a fast-paced environment

• Prepare and pre-press production-ready files for various substrates and media (large-format print, CNC routing, etc.)

• Conduct thorough artwork proofing, take-offs, and quality control to ensure accuracy, colour consistency, and production compliance

• Collaborate and liaise with Project Managers and the broader production team on artwork changes, approvals, and delivery timelines

• Develop signage designs aligned with client briefs and brand guidelines
