Boning Room Supervisor

The Company

O'Connor is Victoria's leading processor and exporter of Premium Beef Products, located in Pakenham. With a strong international and domestic brand and a reputation for quality, O'Connor currently employs approximately 500 staff.

O'Connor is currently seeking a Boning Room Supervisor for a permanent full-time position.

The Position

Reporting to the Boning Room Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that beef is boned, sliced and packed to company, customer and regulatory requirements.

Payment based on hours worked with overtime applicable.

• Correct recording of additional hours completed by staff

• Ability to implement production schedules and analyse production data

• Training and guidance to staff on correct techniques, quality and regulatory standards

• Ensuring that staff are following safe work practices and H & S policies and guidelines

• Completing documentation as required.

The Person

• You have supervisory experience in a meat manufacturing environment, in a beef boning room, and show leadership qualities including ability to instruct/teach

• Ability to bone and slice beef when required

• AUSMEAT accreditations advantageous

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Competence and understanding of numerical data

• You are H&S focused

• You can work calmly and adapt quickly to changes.
