Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group Finance Manager you will have the opportunity to work across payroll, financial, management and bookkeeping functions.
Process end to end fortnightly payroll and related compliance obligations.
Complete end to end accounts receivable and accounts payable functions including, invoice processing, statement reconciliation, queries and debtor management.
Contribute to month-end and year-end reconciliations, inter-company transactions, financial reporting, and any other general finance administration.
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
Ensure compliance with and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and relevant statutory compliance, including the ability to confidently interpreting relevant Awards and apply Fair Work legislative requirements.
Assist and co-ordinate with ad-hoc ICT-related support.
About You
Recognized accounting qualification and minimum two years' experience in a payroll or finance position.
A proactive, hands-on work ethic, an eagerness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges.
Experience with Microsoft suite and particularly MS Excel. Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
Outstanding organisational, time management skills with the ability to confidently manage competing priorities and projects at one time.
