General Practitioner - Triple Paid on Top

Bulk billing, but the good version.
The list runs heavy on care plans and chronic disease, where the item values sit at the top of the schedule - so expect to make plenty of money here on a daily basis.

Every eligible service here is bulk billed so the 12.5% Incentive is added to your billings - half paid straight you .

Doctors inside the 10 year moratorium have been placed here on 6 month locum exemptions, so make sure you inquire!

Full or Part Time
The role is Full or Part time, completely up to you and the days are yours to nominate. The roster, the patient list and the support around you are all set up for a doctor who really wants a proper work life balance and a schedule that suits them.

Remuneration

• Daily Billings $3000 - $4000 (lots of care plans to maximise billings)
• 70% to the GP
• 75% Saturdays to the GP
• 12.5% Incentive Paid on top
• 3 month Guarantee at $175ph to help support you as you build 
• GPs here typically are fully booked within 2 weeks

Clinical Work

• Chronic disease management with care plans as a core part of the week
• Care plan reviews and team care arrangements, not one off paperwork
• High value MBS items sit inside the ordinary consulting day
• Complex patients with the time and the item numbers to manage them properly

Company, Culture and Site
The practice sits inside a national group where the Operations Manager came up through the business rather than in from outside it, and it shows in how the sites are run. Clinical decisions stay with the doctor. Head office carries payroll, compliance and the back office, so the administration around you is handled properly rather than squeezed in between patients. The billing side is run in the open, and you choose whether you are paid weekly or fortnightly.

On the ground there are treatment rooms, nursing support and a dedicated practice manager who is yours rather than shared across a region. Pathology is on site, along with a range of allied health, so patients who need more than a consult can be handled in the building instead of sent across town. Parking is on site. Demand is steady enough that a new doctor's book fills inside 2 to 3 weeks.
