Marketing Coordinator and Writer

We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator and Writer to join our collaborative team at The Deepdale Group. This role will work across our group of purpose-led brands, with a focus on our merchandise brands Mardaa and Look Brilliant.
Mardaa is a proudly Aboriginal-led and majority owned company, who blend sustainability and service to deliver purposeful designs across branded merchandise, uniforms, furniture, full-service office fit-outs, promotional products and more. From mining and construction partners to community groups and corporate teams, we help businesses share their stories and connect with First Nations culture. A portion of all proceeds contributes directly to the Mardaa fund, helping us give back to the First Nations communities.
Look Brilliant is a certified B Corp that has been bringing brands to life with high-quality merchandise, branding, apparel, event displays and more for over 30 years. Their in-house design team works with clients of all sizes (from Amazon and Airbnb to local surf life saving clubs) to create custom products with purpose and personality. They’re also a proudly Australian business with an entirely AU/NZ supply chain to protect quality and support local businesses.
Both of these brands—and a few other behind-the-scenes projects—have stories that need to be told, and told well. What you'll be working onWriting product copy, case studies, web content and sales materialCreating clear, professional content for both B2B and technical audiencesAssisting with campaign planning, content calendars and marketing rolloutsSupporting social media content creationCoordinating product launches, newsletters and promotional activityCollaborating with graphic designers, sales teams and the marketing managerHelping build consistency across brand voice and messagingCrafting narratives that uplift Indigenous creativity and celebrate community impact
What we’re looking forStrong writing skills with a portfolio of content or marketing workExperience writing for web, socials and print—ideally in B2B or technical industriesA confident communicator who thrives on collaboration and coordinationThe ability to manage multiple projects and shifting prioritiesFamiliarity with tools like Google Workspace, Canva, Hubspot or similarAt least 4 years of experience in a similar marketing or content roleSomeone who’s organised, proactive and passionate about Aussie-owned and purpose-led brandsA strong interest in—or familiarity with—Indigenous Australian language, culture or slang, or a willingness to learn respectfully
