Gas Field Worker

• $42.31 - $48.12 depending on experience.
• Monday – Friday 38 hours per/week

The Role
Based out of our Cavan depot, you will join a supportive and inclusive crew delivering gas infrastructure works across Adelaide's northern suburbs. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career in the gas industry, with Ventia providing structured training, upskilling, and development opportunities.

This position could suit an individual in labouring, civil construction, plant, machinery experience particularly in the Utility sector looking for their next challenge in the Gas industry. 

Key Responsibilities

• Attend daily pre-start meetings and understand the scope of works.
• Assist with the gas service installations residential and commercial properties.
• Support the Crew Leader and other team members in the safe and efficient delivery of field activities.
• Perform general labouring duties including excavation, shovel work, site preparation, and housekeeping.
• Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of plant, machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Complete vehicle and equipment pre-start inspections.
• Follow all company, client, safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
• Participate in required training and competency development programs.

  
What you need

• Experience labouring in utilities, infrastructure and/or residential projects
• Certificate III or IV in Natural Gas Operations (Advantageous)    
• MR License (Advantageous)
• Construction Induction card  
• First Aid Certificate
