Medical Receptionist / Medical Receptionist Trainee

The opportunity now exists for an enthusiastic, reliable, detail orientated and friendly medical receptionist to join our close-knit team. Applicants experienced in allied health, specialist rooms, or general practice reception will be highly regarded. Training can be provided however, for outstanding applicants looking for an entry point into a long-term career in the secure health industry (school leavers are encouraged to apply).

The successful applicant will have exemplary customer service and communication skills, complemented by strong spelling, literacy and typing skills. Personal attributes for success will include an empathetic, efficient, reliable, caring and professional demeanour, with an outstanding work ethic and team spirit.

This position will suit someone looking for a long-term position, of 25 - 38 hours per week. Full flexibility is required to work across the clinic opening hours, Mon - Fri 7.30am - 7.30pm and occasional Saturday mornings from 8am until 1pm. Due to the flexibility required for this position, tertiary students will not be considered for this role.

We are a fast paced, patient cantered, accredited general practice catering to 14 GPs and 16 Allied Health professionals. This is a warm and meticulous environment suited to someone looking for a challenge, who thrives on helping others, working under pressure, diversity in their working day and accomplishing a high work load.

The successful applicant will be available and have the flexibility to adjust their roster to cover planned and unplanned leave. The position will be available for an immediate start.
