Run the Central Coast's most iconic Pizza Parlour

This is not a desk-based management role. We are looking for someone who wants to be on the floor, leading the team, talking to customers and making sure the venue is operating at its best.

General position requirements
Venue Operations

Take overall responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of Tropicana.
Lead service and ensure consistently high standards of food, beverage and customer experience.
Be present on the floor during key trading periods and lead by example.
Open and close the venue and ensure all operational procedures are followed.
Troubleshoot issues quickly and confidently during service.
Maintain the presentation, cleanliness and overall atmosphere of the venue.
Ensure music, lighting, styling and general ambience remain consistent with the Tropicana brand.
Manage ordering and stock levels across food, beverage and venue supplies.
Conduct regular stocktakes and identify discrepancies.

People & Leadership

Recruit, train, onboard and manage FOH staff.
Create and manage weekly rosters in line with business needs and labour budgets.
Build a reliable, positive and accountable team culture.
Manage performance issues and staff conflicts appropriately

Customer Experience

Maintain a high level of service and hospitality.
Build relationships with regular customers and the local community.
Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues before they escalate.
Understand that Tropicana is as much about the experience and brand as it is about the food.
Help maintain the personality, energy and sense of fun that makes the venue distinctive.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure RSA, food safety, WHS and other relevant requirements are followed.
Maintain required venue records and procedures.
Ensure staff understand and comply with workplace policies.

Marketing & Events

Assist with implementing promotions, events and special trading periods.
Work with the owners on ideas to drive traffic and repeat business.
Help coordinate DJs, community events and other activations.
Contribute ideas for improving the venue and strengthening the Tropicana brand.
