About the role

Southeast Stone is seeking a skilled Stonemason / Installer to join our team in Caloundra West, Queensland. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of high-quality stone products.

Multiple positions available -

• Installer

• Installer offsider

• Labourer/ Factory work

What you'll be doing

• Fabricate and install a variety of stone products, including countertops, vanity tops etc

• Operate machinery and tools to cut, shape, and polish stone materials

• Measure, template, and design stone layouts for residential and commercial projects

• Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice

• Ensure all work meets industry standards and safety regulations

• Maintain a clean and organised work environment

• Provide on-site support and troubleshoot any issues that arise during installations

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a stonemason, installer, or fabricator

• Strong technical skills in stone fabrication and installation

• Demonstrated experience working with various stone materials including engineered stone, natural stone, granite, marble, and quartz

• Proficient in the use of power tools, hand tools, and machinery used in the stone industry

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
