About the role
Seeking a senior physiotherapist to provide and maintain optimal physiotherapy care across the medical ward, COU ward and emergency department at the Mersey Community Hospital (MCH). The inpatient physiotherapy team at MCH is a close-knit group of 8, working across the medical and rehabilitation wards. The MCH is an exciting and rewarding place to work, featuring contemporary, evidence-informed practice that sees you closely linked to the whole multidisciplinary team.
The RoleWithin the Department Framework and in accordance with Agency Policy and Procedures the Senior Physiotherapist will, within a defined clinical team and/or other specified areas of the Hospitals:

Details of appointmentFixed term, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible until 28 May 2027.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $117,272 to $126,182 per annum (pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary Packaging:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
