Position Profile and Role

We are currently seeking Medical Imaging Assistants to join our team.

As part of the multidisciplinary team, this role assists Medical Imaging Technologists (MITs) and Sonographers to perform all imaging examinations, cares for patients whilst in Medical Imaging Department, and enters patient data.

This recruitment process offers Permanent Full time and Fixed Term Full Time contract(s) for with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency.

We currently have 5 FTEs available commencing October 2026.

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is an 863-bed tertiary and quaternary hospital providing a broad range of specialised healthcare services. These include the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, dedicated mental health facilities, maternity, paediatric and neonatal care, as well as the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers highly specialised treatments such as heart and lung transplantation and hyperbaric medicine.

Adjacent to the hospital, the FSH Medihotel operates within the Aegis Health Building and provides an innovative extension of FSH healthcare services, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
