The Opportunity

• Astute Constructions is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team and play a key role in delivering our portfolio of high-end Class 2 residential developments.

• The role will be extremely rewarding with unlimited exposure to the construction, design, and development process. Attention to detail coupled with a sense of urgency and forward-thinking mindset are paramount.

• We are looking for the right person to join our team and are offering a clear pathway into Project Management

• Remuneration is competitive and based on experience.

The role

• Deliver projects end-to-end: planning, procurement, program, cost, quality and handover

• Assist the PM to lead site teams, subcontractors and consultants through complex builds

• Report to the PM with genuine input into how projects are won and delivered

• Our approach is deliberately measured - thorough planning, safe delivery, confident handover - which makes Astute a builder where PMs and CAs run projects properly rather than firefighting.

What you'll need

• Proven delivery as a CA with a head contractor, ideally on $10m + projects, with minimum of 2+ years of experience in an administrator role.

• Class 2 Residential experience highly regarded

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or equivalent industry experience

• Demonstrated steady career history with a proven background in construction management.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

• High attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy in project execution.

• Motivated, proactive, and ready to take the next step in your career.

Ideally you will be tertiary qualified in Construction Management and have multi-unit residential experience, although this is not essential. Your attitude, drive and ability will be the determining factors in being the successful applicant.
