Associate - Architecture

This is an opportunity to step into an Associate role where you’ll have responsibility across projects, people and the day-to-day performance of a successful Sydney architecture practice.

The studio works across multi-residential, defence, health and specialist accommodation projects, including environments designed to support recovery, safety and wellbeing. The work is meaningful, technically varied and gives you the chance to lead projects where design quality and practical delivery carry equal importance.

You’ll oversee projects from early design through documentation and construction, working directly with clients, consultants, authorities and contractors. Alongside project delivery, you’ll help plan resources, monitor programmes and budgets, review technical quality and support Project Leaders when issues need senior input.

This is also a people-focused position. You’ll guide Architects, Technicians and Graduates, provide regular feedback and help create clear priorities across the team. The role suits someone who can maintain standards, make confident decisions and keep projects moving without creating unnecessary layers or process.

The Sydney practice has a team of around 18 and is led by two experienced, hands-on Directors. They have built the studio around trust, practical thinking and a zero-ego approach, giving senior staff the room to contribute ideas and take ownership of outcomes.
