Zammit Transport is a family-owned and operated business that has recently expanded, opening a second location in Tottenham. With our continued growth, we are currently looking for qualified mechanics to join our team.
About the role
Diagnose and coordinate the maintenance and repairs of all Prime Movers in our fleet.
Perform both major and minor services.
Onsite and offsite emergency repairs, and breakdowns.
Complete accurate job cards/ documentation of tasks.
Carry out all work in a safe manner in accordance with OH&S and NHVR regulations.
Good Pay
This position is full-time, morning and afternoon shift, with overtime and weekend work.
Qualifications
A diesel mechanic trade certificate is required.
Must have a current Australian driver license.
Current forklift license preferred, but not essential.
MR/HR truck license preferred, but not essential.
Proven previous experience working with heavy vehicles.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Reliable and motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
Work within a team and independently.
Have a sound understanding of safe work practices.
