The Opportunity: Assistant Director

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5 days per week
• Location: - Gatton
• Hours: Up to 38 hours with flexibility
• Compensation: Up to $41 per hour + super

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Centre Director with daily operations and leadership
• Contribute to and lead aspects of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
• Support compliance with the NQF, EYLF, and Regulations
• Mentor and support educators across the service
• Promote a positive, reflective and collaborative team culture
• Build strong relationships with children, families and staff

We would love you to have:

• A Diploma of Early Childhood Education
• Previous experience as a room leader/ Assistant Director
• Use your amazing coaching techniques to help develop reflective practices
• Identify areas of improvement and support educators in their planning
• Demonstrate a high level of communication skills and maintain a professional manner in the workplace
• Have a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
• A current Qld Blue Card
• Be passionate about a healthy lifestyle and good nutrition for our children
