Local Area Marketing Manager (LAM)

At Schnitz Group, we’re passionate about creating memorable guest experiences and connecting with the communities we serve. We’re looking for a Local Area Marketing Manager to drive local engagement, guest traffic and sales growth across our restaurant network.

Reporting to the Brand Manager, you’ll develop and deliver local marketing initiatives, working closely with franchisees, restaurant teams, BDMs and the wider Marketing team to bring campaigns, events and partnerships to life.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and execute local area marketing plans aligned with Schnitz Groups national brand strategy and local business objectives
• Partner with franchisees, restaurant managers and BDMs to identify opportunities and deliver local marketing initiatives
• Plan and coordinate community events, partnerships, sponsorships and local activations that drive brand awareness and guest engagement
• Support new restaurant openings and refurbishments through local marketing strategies, launch plans and campaign execution
• Manage local marketing calendars, ensuring activities align with broader brand campaigns and business priorities
• Analyse local market insights, customer trends and campaign performance to identify opportunities for growth
• Coordinate local promotions, advertising activity, digital campaigns and marketing collateral
• Build strong relationships with centre management, community groups, suppliers and local stakeholders
• Provide feedback and insights from restaurants and guests to support wider Marketing and Operations initiatives
• Track campaign performance and share learnings to improve future local marketing activity

About You

• Experience in Local Area Marketing, Field Marketing, Retail Marketing, QSR, hospitality or franchise marketing
• Proven experience delivering local marketing campaigns, activations or community initiatives
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with franchise partners and restaurant teams
• Experience coordinating events, partnerships, sponsorships or local promotions
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Commercial mindset with an understanding of how marketing activity can drive customer engagement and sales
• A passion for connecting brands with their local communities
