The Role

This is a full-time position focused on delivering Years 7–10 English and Humanities (no VCE requirements), creating engaging learning experiences, and fostering student curiosity.

• Plan and deliver dynamic, high-quality lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum for Years 7–10 English and Humanities.

• Utilise inclusive, student-centred teaching strategies that cater to varied learning needs and foster critical thinking.

• Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment consistent with the school’s Catholic ethos.

• Work closely with an experienced faculty to ensure seamless continuity of learning for students during this leave coverage.

Successful Candidate Profile

• Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration and relevant Tertiary Teaching Qualifications.

• Full Australian working rights required.

• Demonstrated ability teaching English and Humanities up to Year 10 level.

• Respectful of the school’s Catholic ethos, adaptable, energetic, and capable of rapidly building positive rapport with students and staff.
