About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chef and an enthusiastic Apprentice Chef to join our dedicated team at Amanda's on the Edge, a highly acclaimed restaurant located in the beautiful Pokolbin region of New South Wales. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering exceptional cuisine in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What you'll be doing

• Planning, preparing and cooking a diverse range of high-quality dishes from our seasonal menus

• Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen

• Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

• Assisting with inventory management and ordering of supplies

• Providing guidance and support to the Apprentice Chef

• Collaborating with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Chef, with a strong background in fine dining or a similar high-calibre hospitality environment

• Exceptional culinary skills and a passion for creating innovative, flavoursome dishes

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene

• Excellent time management and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Relevant qualifications or a willingness to complete an apprenticeship program
