Casual Side Lift Driver

JR Richards & Sons is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Casual Side Lift Driver to join our Picton team.

This role offers 3 to 4 days per week, with opportunities for additional hours during busy and peak seasonal periods. If you're looking for flexible work with a stable and growing organisation, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Side Lift Driver, you will play an important role in servicing our local community by collecting residential waste and recycling. Working independently and as part of a small team, you'll ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently, and professionally.

• Operate side lift collection vehicles safely and efficiently

• Complete domestic waste and recycling collection runs

• Follow run sheets and route mapping accurately

• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks

• Utilise basic computer systems and onboard technology

• Maintain a strong focus on safety, customer service, and environmental compliance

Previous experience in the waste industry is advantageous but not essential.

• Unrestricted HR Driver Licence

• Satisfactory RMS driving record

• Strong commitment to workplace safety

• Effective communication and customer service skills

• Reliable, self-motivated, and flexible attitude

• Ability to work independently and within a team
