About the Role
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Urgent Care team in Elizabeth.
You will provide high-quality nursing care, conduct timely patient triage, identify clinical deterioration and work closely with Urgent Care Medical Practitioners to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care.
This opportunity is well suited to nurses with experience in Emergency, Intensive Care, Critical Care, Coronary Care, acute care or rural/remote nursing who are looking to apply their clinical assessment and decision-making skills in a dynamic Urgent Care environment.

Your Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact and conduct accurate, timely nursing triage.
Assess patients, prioritise care and identify patients requiring urgent medical assessment or escalation.
Recognise and respond appropriately to clinical deterioration.
Deliver hands-on clinical care, including wound care, suturing, plastering and assisting with procedures, where appropriately trained and within scope.
Provide compassionate, patient-centred care in collaboration with patients, families, carers and Medical Practitioners.
Provide health education and support patients to achieve positive clinical outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Contribute to workplace health, safety and quality initiatives.
Adapt confidently to a fast-paced and changing Urgent Care environment.
Work effectively both autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
About You
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
Experience in Emergency, triage, ICU, Critical Care, Coronary Care, acute care or rural/remote nursing.
Previous emergency department triage experience is highly regarded but not essential.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and escalation skills.
Ability to recognise clinical deterioration and respond appropriately.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously, delegate appropriately and contribute effectively within a team.
A strong commitment to patient-centred care.
Flexibility and adaptability within a busy Urgent Care environment.
Availability to work evenings and weekends.
