Job Description

Aurora Dairies are currently seeking multiple Senior Farm Hands/Farm Hands across South-East South Australia, Australia. The farms are located in the Mount Gambier Region.

The successful candidates will have a passion for the dairy industry and have experience in assisting the
management team in managing a dairy operation.

The successful candidates will have demonstrated skills and experience in the following areas:

• Driving and upholding Animal Health and Safe Operating Procedures
• Animal Health and Record Management
• All aspects of milking and general farm duties
• Feeding of cattle and feeding plans
• Animal Husbandry
• Pasture Management
• Machinery operation
• Repairs and Maintenance
• Supervise work routines and staff performance for dairy cattle farmers - farm hands.

Qualifications

The desired skills and experience for this opportunity are:

• Minimum of 3 years of dairy industry experience
• Certificate III or relevant equivalent
• Committed to ensuring a safe workplace
• Reliable and punctual
• Good work ethic and positive attitude
• Team Player.
