Due to our expanding client base and increased demand for our fabrication services, MCP Oz requires a qualified Boilermaker to join our Canning Vale based workshop.

The successful candidate will be offered:

• Fulltime role, Monday - Friday, 7.00am - 3.00pm (40 hours/week)

About the role:

The successful candidate will be part of small team working in a 2-bay full serviced workshop and have the following skills and expertise:

• Boilermaker Trade Certificates with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role

• Proficient in a variety of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and the ability to work safely at all times

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and other technical documents to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components and structures

• Perform cutting etc. with oxy/acetylene

• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards

• Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects efficiently

• Maintain a clean and organised work area, and ensure all tools and equipment are well-maintained
