The Opportunity
We are seeking passionate and innovative Media, Humanities and Digital Technology Teachers to join our College community for an immediate start. The teaching roles are full-time positions.
The successful applicants are committed to creating engaging learning experiences and understands the unique needs of students in Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary years of schooling.
Working with a collaborative and future-focused learning environment, you will inspire students to think critically, communicate confidently, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their community, and the wider world.
Selection Criteria
Relevant qualifications and teacher's registration
Full Australian working rights
Ability and willingness to relocate to Brisbane QLD, Australia at your own expense
Successful teaching experience in Primary and understanding of the Australian Curriculum
Ability and willingness to contribute to the development and design of quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs
Ability to engage in supporting the well-being of students
Demonstration of effective communication and collaboration with students, parents and staff
Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a team environment
Be fully supportive of the Islamic ethos, values and practices of the College

The Islamic College of Brisbane (ICB) is a Prep to Year 12 co-educational, independent growing school, located on the southern outskirts of Brisbane in the suburb of Karawatha located in the South East Queensland region. We are a community-centered college adhering to Australian values and virtues which are underpinned by the inclusive Islamic ethos of equality, respect and humility in producing self-directed and proactive learners and citizens.
