SENIOR TAX & BUSINESS SERVICES ACCOUNTANT – BRISBANE SOUTH – LONG ESTABLISHED ACCOUNTING FIRM - 90K–110K+SUPER (Job ID 803)

Our client is a well-established Chartered Accounting firm based in Brisbane’s southside, with a strong reputation for supporting SMEs, business owners and individuals. Known for their hands-on approach and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes, they provide tax, business advisory and financial services in a collaborative and structured environment. 

The Role: 

• Manage your own performance while ensuring all work complies with firm policies and best practice standards 

• Lead and build strong client relationships, proactively advising clients on business growth, tax planning and additional service opportunities 

• Manage work in progress, billing and ATO lodgments, ensuring deadlines are consistently met and debtors are managed efficiently 

• Review and mentor junior team members, guiding technical work, client communications, and professional development 

• Lead complex client engagements and ensure all work is delivered on time and meets client expectations 

• Identify and prepare additional services for clients, supporting business development initiatives 

About You: 

• CA or CPA qualified 

• 4+ years’ experience in public practice, with exposure to client advisory, WIP management and compliance 

• Proven ability to manage deadlines, billing and workflow autonomously 

• Strong technical expertise across business services, tax, and accounting 

• Excellent communication, relationship management and organisational skills 

• Confident mentoring junior team members and contributing to team development 

• Commercially minded, proactive, and solutions-focused
