Social Media Marketing Specialist

Job Description

This is a remote position.

Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) in line with the client's brand voice and marketing goals.Design graphics, short-form video, and other visual content using Canva.Manage content calendars and ensure consistent, on-brand posting across all channels.Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and support community management.Track and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations forimprovement.Stay current with social media trends and platform updates to keep content fresh and relevant.Collaborate with the wider marketing and client team on campaigns, promotions, and content strategy.Support broader marketing initiatives as needed, including email marketing or CRM-related tasks.

Requirements

Proven experience in a social media management or marketing coordinator role. Strong working knowledge of Canva for content creation (required).Solid understanding of major social media platforms and best practices for organic content andengagement.Excellent written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet content deadlines in a part-time capacity.Comfortable working with Australian clients across time zones.
