About the Role

Join the Adult Genetics Service and play a key role in keeping a busy specialist team running smoothly. You'll provide high quality administrative and secretarial support, lead a small administration team and help deliver a welcoming, efficient service for patients, clinicians and stakeholders.

• Lead daily admin support across the Adult Genetics Service
• Provide confidential secretarial and reception services
• Manage patient records, data and clinical correspondence
• Support and guide administration team members
• Build strong links with clinicians and external partners

About You

You're an organised, approachable administrator who thrives in a busy healthcare environment. You bring strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail and enjoy supporting both patients and multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience in healthcare administration or secretarial support
• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and database skills
• Confident with medical terminology and accurate typing
• Excellent organisation, judgement and confidentiality skills
• Build positive relationships and adapt to changing priorities
