Collections Officer

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, focusing on early arrears and customer engagement to drive positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage early arrears collections through outbound and inbound calls
• Conduct skip tracing activities to locate and reconnect with customers
• Assess and manage financial hardship cases, offering appropriate solutions
• Negotiate payment arrangements aligned with policy and compliance
• Maintain accurate records and case notes across systems
• Deliver a strong balance of customer service and commercial outcomes

About You:

• Previous experience in collections, recoveries, or customer service within financial services
• Exposure to early arrears, skip tracing, or hardship (highly regarded)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism
• Resilient, target-driven, and solutions-focused
