Yardsman/Factory Hand

Redmond Gary is a long established, well-respected and growing manufacturer based at Molendinar on the Gold Coast whose diverse range of Elevating Work Platforms and Cable Handling Equipment is highly regarded in the Electrical and Mining industries throughout Australia.

This permanent position is available for a Yardsman/Factory Hand to be part of our team at Redmond Gary and an immediate start is offered. 

The successful applicant MUST possess the following attributes:

• Current fork lift licence – essential

• Current HR licence – essential

• Previous experience with Material Handling

• Previous experience with overhead and gantry style cranes

• Previous experience with lawn maintenance and equipment, lawn mower, whipper snipper, etc

• Experience in stores/warehousing – advantageous but not essential

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong team work ethic 

• Positive attitude and good interpersonal skills - essential

• Honest and reliable 

 Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with Store duties when required

• Assist local pickups and deliveries

• Load/Unload trucks as required, perform checks and process paperwork

• Internal stock movements, moving goods between departments

• Yard cleaning, pick up rubbish, mow lawns, prune shrubs, general tidying

• General Duties – example, empty bins and cleaning as required

• Understanding of and commitment to OH&S and QA policies and procedures
