Pre-Start Specialist

Turn “We’ve signed the contract” into “We’re ready to build.”

We’re looking for an experienced Pre-Start Specialist to join our growing team and guide clients through one of the most exciting stages of building their home.

You’ll help clients make confident decisions around colours, finishes, fixtures and upgrades, while keeping budgets, timelines and selections on track. You’ll own two of our pre-start pathways Guided (online) and Traditional (face-to-face) and work closely with our Sales, Drafting, Estimating and Construction teams to ensure every home is ready for a smooth handover.

What you'll do

• Lead online and face-to-face pre-start appointments

• Guide clients through colours, finishes, fixtures, upgrades and variations

• Interpret plans, specifications and estate design guidelines

• Build knowledge across brick, steel-framed and timber construction

• Maintain accurate selections, approvals and client files

• Work with internal teams to keep projects moving and minimise delays

• Identify opportunities to improve our pre-start processes and client experience

• Support and mentor a junior team member

About you

• Residential pre-start, colour consulting and/or interior design experience is essential

• Strong knowledge of colours, materials, finishes and fixtures

• Confident reading plans and specifications

• Excellent communication and client relationship skills

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

• Commercially minded and confident discussing budgets, upgrades and variations

• Keen to learn different construction systems

• Experience with Constructive and/or Truth Engine is highly regarded
