About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Metal Fabrication & Engineering Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the engineering and manufacturing industry. You will receive hands-on training while working alongside experienced tradespeople, learning the skills required to become a qualified Metal Fabricator.

What You'll Learn

As an apprentice, you will gain practical experience in:

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
• MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
• Operating fabrication equipment and hand tools safely.
• Using machinery such as guillotines, press brakes, drills, and grinders.
• Performing quality checks to ensure work meets required standards.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in engineering and metal fabrication.
• Is reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.
• Has good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing quality workmanship.
• Can work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Has strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Holds a current driver's licence (preferred but not essential).
• Has completed Year 10 or above (preferred).
