Plant Operator

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated, safety-focused operator to join our Kathrine based team. In this role, you will work across a diverse portfolio of civil projects, featuring regular travel and site deployment opportunities throughout regional and metropolitan Northern Territory.

The successful candidate will possess a proven track record in the safe and efficient operation of various civil plant machinery. A background in civil stabilisation projects would be preferred but not essential. Please note this is not a FIFO role, and the successful candidates will be Katherine based.

What's Required:

• Licensing & Compliance: A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver’s licence.

• Mobility: The capability and flexibility to travel and work away from home routinely.

• Safety Alignment: A strong, demonstrated commitment to achieving a 'Zero Harm' workplace.

• Industry Experience: Prior experience in road construction, with a strong emphasis on road rehabilitation and maintenance.

• Tickets & Technical Knowledge: Relevant plant tickets and basic mechanical aptitude.

To ensure the safety of our operations, appointment to this position is subject to passing a pre-employment medical and fitness evaluation. All personnel must also adhere to our company drug and alcohol policy, which includes routine testing throughout the duration of employment.
