About the role
An exciting opportunity exists to join the great team at SA’s leading home improvement manufacturer, Olympic Industries, for a Production Welder based at our Factory in Para Hills West.
We are a proud South Australian family-owned and run business for over 50 years providing Carports, Garages and Sheds to domestic, rural and industrial markets throughout South Australia and interstate.
The Role:
The Production Welder reports to the Welding Supervisor and ensures that stock items requiring welding are produced within our set standards and timeframe.
Essential Criteria:
Mig Welding experience
Hand and Power tool experience
Superb organisational skills
Be punctual and dedicated to your work
Experience in manufacturing / production environment
Maintain a strong focus on quality, environmental issues and safe work practices
Able to pass a welding test
Able to pass a pre-employment medical
Desirable Criteria:
Current fork lift licence
Gantry Crane experience
Able to read and interpret workshop drawings
