Trade Assistant

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on and motivated Trade Assistant to support our Service Technicians in delivering maintenance, repair, and servicing solutions for customer equipment.

This role plays a key part in ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will assist with on-site service activities while contributing to exceptional customer experiences and long-term customer satisfaction.

What you will do

·        Assist Service Technicians with preventative maintenance, repairs, and servicing of customer equipment.

·        Support the delivery of high-quality service while working across customer sites.

·        Communicate customer feedback, technical issues, and potential business opportunities to Service and Sales teams.

·        Maintain safe work practices and comply with company health and safety requirements.

·        Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture through professional interactions with colleagues and customers.

What we require

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.

·        Mechanical aptitude, with experience or knowledge of mechanical systems and/or basic electronics highly regarded.

·        A strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and quality standards.

·        Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

·        Current driver's licence &  forklift licence.

What we prefer

·        Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).

·        Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).

·        Comfortable working at heights and currently hold, or are willing to obtain, the required height safety certification.

·        Flexibility to work overtime and afternoon shifts when required
