Administration Support Officer (Parental Leave Cover)

George Gray Centre (GGC) has been part of the Gippsland community for 60 years, supporting people with disability through Day Services, Supported Employment, Supported Independent Living, Respite and Community Programs.

We’re looking for an Administration Support Officer to cover parental leave.

About the role

This role is the first point of contact for GGC — on the phone, at reception, and for the people who walk through our doors. You’ll provide reception and administrative support across the organisation, with a particular focus on our accommodation services.

Day to day, you’ll:

• Greet visitors, participants and stakeholders, and manage phone and email enquiries
• Maintain accommodation records, files and participant documentation
• Provide general admin support to managers and staff — correspondence, meeting prep, bookings and filing
• Keep the reception and office areas running smoothly, including stationery and supplies

What you’ll bring

• Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to customer service
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence with Microsoft Office; SharePoint or Teams experience is a plus
• The ability to work well as part of a team and follow established systems
• A trustworthy, discreet approach — you’ll be handling sensitive information

Previous experience in administration, reception or disability/community services is desirable but not essential. What matters most is reliability, professionalism and a willingness to learn.

• Current driver’s licence
