Kitchenhand - Gelati Production Kitchen

Join our dynamic team at The Standard Market Company, a premier gourmet food retail company located at the bustling Ferry Road Markets in Southport. 

We are seeking a fit & reliable kitchenhand to join our Gelati Department.

This role is available on a casual basis, with working hours between 5:00am and 6:00pm. The ideal candidate will be flexible and available to work a set roster, including at least one weekend day.

You will have:
· Previous experience in high volume food preparation

· Previous experience in food handling and sanitation. Cleaning is an essential part of this role.

· Previous experience with Ice Cream or Gelato will be highly regarded.

·You must be physically fit as this role requires you to be able to bend, lift & store food products, large pots & pans and do repetitive tasks. 

·Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
