Admin Assistant - Supply Chain / Sales Support

Our client is an international organisation operating across the mining, infrastructure and natural resources industries, specialising in the design and manufacture of innovative drill rigs, rock excavation and construction equipment.
 
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to join their team in Wangara and provide support across sales, supply chain, logistics and general administration.
 
About the Role
 
Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager and wider operations team, you will play an important role in coordinating sales orders, inventory, freight and shipments for domestic and international customers.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing domestic and international sales orders and quotes through internal systems
• Cross-checking orders to ensure accuracy and correct processing
• Monitoring stock levels, order progress, issues and potential delays
• Processing stock movement transfers for distribution and consignment stock replenishments
• Obtaining freight quotes and coordinating freight bookings
• Providing updates on sales orders, shipment and tracking information and production lead times
• Generating reports using internal systems and Excel
• Assisting with ongoing transition and integration processes across domestic and international sales
• Supporting international export arrangements and system transitions as required
• Coordinating with the warehouse regarding stock and shipments
• Liaising with internal teams to ensure orders and shipments are processed efficiently
• Providing general administrative support to the Supply Chain Manager and wider team
• Assisting with other administrative duties as required

• Strong customer service skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers and internal stakeholders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong computer skills, including experience with Excel and business/ERP systems
• Previous experience in administration, customer service, sales support, supply chain or logistics will be highly regarded
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively within a team
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
• A valid driver's licence and reliable transport
• Full working rights in Australia

• $45.00 per hour + super
• Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm
• Ongoing position with a view to permanency
• Wangara location - Free Parking
