Located in the heart of Bundaberg on Bourbong Street, you’ll work alongside an experienced dental team in a busy and varied practice, gaining valuable hands-on experience while helping patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their visit.

Job Description

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play an important role in supporting our clinicians and helping the practice run smoothly throughout the day.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting dentists and clinicians across a range of proceduresProviding chairside assistance and anticipating the needs of the clinicianPreparing treatment rooms, instruments and equipmentWelcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their appointmentMaintaining clean, organised and well-prepared clinical areasSterilising instruments and following infection control proceduresWorking collaboratively with the wider team to deliver a positive patient experience

Qualifications

Ideally, you’ll bring:

Previous Dental Assisting experience and/or a Certificate III or above in Dental Assisting is highly regarded, but not essentialA friendly, confident and approachable mannerStrong communication and organisation skillsA positive attitude and willingness to learnReliability and a strong work ethicThe ability to work well as part of a teamGood attention to detail and ability to follow processes
