Contracts Administrator

🏗️ Contracts Administrator | Class 2 Residential | North Sydney
I’m currently recruiting for an established builder-developer based in North Sydney, looking to add an experienced Contracts Administrator to their Class 2 project team. This opportunity would suit someone with solid experience across residential or mixed-use construction, ideally from a developer or builder-developer environment, who is confident managing the commercial and contractual side of project delivery.
Key Responsibilities Manage subcontractor procurement, tendering and scope preparation Prepare and administer subcontracts, variations and progress claims Monitor project costs, cash flow and commercial reporting Coordinate RFIs, project documentation and contract correspondence Work closely with the Project Manager, Site Team, consultants and subcontractors Support projects through construction, completion and handover
About You Previous experience as a Contracts Administrator within the Australian construction industry Strong exposure to Class 2 residential / apartment or mixed-use projects Ideally experience working with a developer, builder-developer or residential head contractor Good understanding of subcontractor procurement and contract administration Strong commercial awareness, organisation and stakeholder management skills Comfortable working closely with both site and project teams
