Head Barista

We’re all about great coffee, quality and attention to detail, with a strong focus on latte art, consistency and a clean, professional bar.

We’re looking for someone with strong specialty coffee experience who enjoys making, serving and talking about great coffee. Latte art, precision and cleanliness are essential, but passion and a positive attitude matter just as much.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain a high standard of quality and organisation across the coffee area.

* Maintain and clean grinders independently.

* Maintain the coffee machine and carry out daily cleaning and maintenance.

* Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the coffee station.

* Assist the manager with stock ordering and inventory.

* Contribute ideas for new coffee specials, menu items and service improvements.

* Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a smooth and efficient service.

About You

* Minimum 2 year experience in a similar barista position.

* Proven experience within the hospitality industry.

* Strong specialty coffee knowledge and a genuine passion for coffee.

* Confident with dialling in, grinder adjustments and coffee extraction.

* Strong latte art skills and excellent attention to detail.

* Highly focused on delivering and serving exceptional coffee.

* Keen to continue developing your skills and knowledge.

* Enjoy sharing knowledge and contributing positively to a team.

* Reliable, proactive and willing to get stuck in with a can-do attitude.

Pay: $26.44 – $48.57 per hour

Expected hours: 27.0 – 38.0 per week
