About the role

You are responsible for providing great food & beverage service to all our guests across a variety of outlets. During your shift you will ensure that the restaurants and bars are clean, tidy, have a great atmosphere, and that all food & beverage products you serve are of the best quality possible. Your friendly, welcoming and efficient manner will ensure we keep our promise to our guests of friendly and helpful service throughout the hotels.

Your main priority will be delivering exceptional in-room dining service to our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, preparing trays, and delivering meals with efficiency and warmth, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to outstanding hospitality. This role requires a strong focus on guest service, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while upholding brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional in-room dining customer service

• Greet and seat guests and present menus in a professional and friendly manner.

• Obtain knowledge of wine lists, beverage selections, menus, and daily specials.

• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all stations.

• Set tables for a variety of meal periods in line with hotel standards and product specifications.

• Take food orders and enter them correctly into the Point-of-Sale System.

• Answer queries over the phone and in person and take restaurant reservations.

• Prepare signature and classic cocktails, operate the bar, and serve food and beverage to guests with prompt, friendly and efficient service.

Skills & Qualifications

• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

• Working Rights in Australia

• Flexible availability to workdays/nights/weekends

• Cocktail/bar experience is highly regarded

• Previous experience within a busy fine dining or a la carte environment is desirable
