Technical Service Engineer

About the role.

We are looking for a full-time Technical Service Engineer to join our team in Rouse Hill, Sydney in a full-time position.

Tasks

• Examining and testing machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults.

• Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machine, equipment and instruments

• Reassembling, test operating and adjusting equipment.

• Advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions.

• Installing electronic equipment and control systems

• Applying knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principals in commissioning and maintaining control systems.

Skills and experience. 

Applicants will need to possess at least two years recent experience in Electrical or Mechatronics background with trade/diploma qualifications. A minimum of 2 years’ experience on panel-based woodworking machinery would be highly valued.

• Good knowledge of concepts, principles and practices of electrical/mechanical systems.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Able to read and understand technical documentation, drawings, manuals and OEM guides.

• Able to service and support equipment, including mechanical, electrical and electronic repairs.
