MEDLOG WA Night Transport Scheduler

MEDLOG is looking for an experienced, switched-on Night Shift Transport Scheduler to join our growing team at our North Fremantle Container Park.

This is a hands-on operational role at the heart of our container transport operation. You'll be coordinating drivers, managing changing priorities and keeping container movements on track throughout the day.

The role

As our Night Shift Transport Scheduler, you'll help coordinate the day-to-day movement of our fleet and drivers, ensuring jobs are planned efficiently and our available capacity is maximised.

Your day will include:

• Scheduling fleet movements through VBS booking systems and Containerchain
• Planning and allocating driver jobs for FCL deliveries and MT collections
• Coordinating closely with drivers, operations and other MEDLOG teams
• Monitoring daily movements and adjusting schedules as priorities change
• Ensuring job, booking and movement information is accurate and up to date
• Maximising fleet utilisation and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
• Supporting MEDLOG's Fleet Maintenance Strategy
• Troubleshooting operational issues and finding practical solutions quickly
• Working to tight deadlines in a busy, high-volume environment

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys transport operations.

You'll be comfortable juggling multiple priorities, making decisions quickly and communicating with drivers and stakeholders throughout the day.

You'll bring:

• Strong transport scheduling, allocation or logistics coordination skills
• Excellent organisation and the ability to reprioritise throughout the day
• A calm, solutions-focused approach when things don't go to plan
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence making decisions and taking ownership of your workload
• Sound knowledge of Main Roads Regulations
• Strong computer skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly

Even better if you have experience with:

• Containerchain
• MT Data
• 1-Stop VBS
• Container transport, wharf cartage or port operations
