Sydney Central Hotel, managed by The Ascott Limited, now seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join as NSW Management Accountant.  This full-time role will report to the Financial Controller – NSW and work closely with other departments. 

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and analysing monthly financial reports, forecasts and management accounts to support informed business decisions.
• Monitoring financial performance, conducting variance analysis and identifying opportunities to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
• Ensuring accurate reconciliations, financial record keeping and compliance with accounting standards, policies and statutory requirements.
• Managing cash flow, accounts receivable and accounts payable processes while supporting audits, taxation obligations and internal controls.
• Partnering with operational leaders to provide commercial insights, support budgeting activities and drive continuous process improvements across the business.

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role, ideally within hospitality, accommodation or a multi-site environment.
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, compliance requirements and statutory reporting obligations.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across finance and operational teams.
