About Women's Emergency Care
WEC provides direct clinical care for over 28,000 women per year with emergency maternity and gynaecology problems, including emergency care for newborns who were born at the Women's and are less than two weeks of age. We support women to manage any psychological, psychosocial, social, and socioeconomic concerns that may impact on their health care. The unit also has a role in providing education and training for local, national and international health professionals.
About the role
As an Admissions and Triage Clerk you will provide customer focused care and reception duties, alongside patient registration, admission, transfer and discharge of patients. You'll also uphold FOI legislation and patient privacy policy of the Women's regarding patient data and the EMR.
