About the role
As the Finance Administrator at Arrow Commodities Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Financial Controller.
This full-time position is based in our Surry Hills office in NSW.
What you'll be doing
Accounts Payable
Processing accounts payable transactions
Accounts Receivable Management
Customer payments entryMonitor and follow up overdue customer debtors in liaison with traders
Reporting Duties
Debtor reportsInsurance data reportsPayment times reportsEOY Expense allocation report
Month End Activities
Bank reconciliationsCompany credit cardsMonthly staff expenses
Mark-to-Market (MtM) Entry
Compliance with all Arrow Commodities Internal Policies
Providing finance and administrative support to the finance team as required.
Selection Criteria
Tertiary accounting qualification plus 2 years experience in an accounting role
Strong attention to detail and ability to learn new skills.
Strong computer literacy in accounting and Microsoft applications.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and autonomously.
Desirable
Working towards CPA qualification or plan to obtain qualification.
Experience with ERP systems.
Experience in an export / import or commodities environment
