Employment Law Partner - Sydney

The client:

Zylo has teamed up with a leading law firm with a strong commitment to providing exceptional legal services to our clients. We are seeking a highly experienced Employment Law Partner to join their dynamic team in Sydney.

Position Summary:

As an Employment Law Partner, you will play a pivotal role in advising clients on a wide range of employment matters, including:

• Workplace disputes: Representing clients in various employment disputes, such as unfair dismissal, discrimination, and harassment claims.
• Contractual matters: Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, severance agreements, and other employment-related agreements.
• Industrial relations: Advising clients on industrial relations issues, including enterprise bargaining, union negotiations, and workplace safety.
• Executive remuneration: Providing expert advice on executive remuneration packages, including performance-based incentives and long-term incentives.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 10 years of experience practicing employment law in a reputable law firm
• Proven track record of success in representing clients in complex employment disputes
• Deep knowledge of Australian employment law and industrial relations legislation
• Strong business development and client relationship management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing high-quality legal advice and representation to clients on a range of employment matters
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and business partners
• Actively participating in business development and marketing initiatives
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
• Contributing to the firm's overall strategic objectives
