About the role 
 
Driven by increasing demand in the region, Supagas is seeking a full-time Business Development Manager to join our Bundaberg branch. You will be responsible for growing our LPG and Industrial Gas business across the Bundaberg region by identifying new opportunities, building strong customer partnerships, leveraging existing relationships, and increasing our market share. 

You will: 

• Initiate cold calls to potential customers. 

• Have demonstrated ability to negotiate and successfully close deals. 

• Meet or exceed new business sales targets. 

• Build and maintain relationships with key industry professionals. 

• Develop and implement new business development strategies. 

You possess: 

• Experience in a similar sales role within the gas industry is desirable but not required. 

• A genuine drive for sales, including designing call cycles and identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. 

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential, with the ability to make a positive impression, convey confidence, build rapport and achieve desired results. 

• Ability to remain flexible and adaptable in high-pressure situations. 

• Strong resilience, excellent time management, organizational skills, and a natural ability to plan effectively.
