DescriptionJOB SUMMARY: The Senior Associate Judge presides over cases as assigned by the Chief Judge to include civil, criminal, and juvenile cases.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Conducts court proceedings as assigned and as needed
- Any other duties as assigned by the Chief Judge
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess a law degree and be a member in good standing of a recognized bar association
- Must have high moral character and integrity
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be willing to submit to and pass the required background investigation based upon the nature of the position and any other applicable requirements.
- Must be willing to submit to and pass drug testing as required in the Kiowa Tribe Human Resources Policies and Procedures.
- Must not have been convicted of any felony offense.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Lifting up to 10 pounds
- Sitting for long periods of time
